Will you accept my insurance?
We accept most insurance plans on an in-network basis. We provide a list of such plans on this website (www.alliedmetrolitho.net/insurance.html). You or your physician's office can also contact us directly at 646. 742. 8800 to determine if we accept a specific insurance plan.

Do you accept payment by credit card?
Yes. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

Are your fixed sites considered ambulatory surgery centers?
The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare (AAAHC) has accredited our fixed sites as lithotripsy centers, not ambulatory surgery centers

Will you accept payment for a procedure from my insurance company if the payment is less than your total fee for that procedure?
While we will accept whatever percentage your insurance company will pay for a particular procedure, it is the patient's responsibility to make up the difference in the fee payment.

Does a co-payment or deductible apply if I have a lithotripsy or BPH procedure done at one of your facilities?
This would depend upon your insurance policy. Some insurance plans may call for a co-payment or deductible and some don't require any out of pocket responsibility. Contact us at 646. 742. 8800 and we will determine you if you have any out of pocket responsibility.

Why don't you accept Medicare patients at your treatment centers?
Physicians are required to provide lithotripsy services for Medicare patients in a hospital setting.

Can I arrange a monthly payment schedule for the balance of my treatment fee?
Yes. After we notify you by mail regarding your remaining balance, contact one of our billing coordinators by phone at 646. 742. 8800 and we will work with you to arrange a payment schedule.

If you are a participating provider, why do I have a coinsurance?
Your coinsurance is based on the medical benefits selected by your employer.
